The Tulsa Oilers doubled-up the visiting Arizona Sundogs on Tuesday night thanks to a balanced attack and 36 saves from goaltender Shane Madolora who improves to 4-8-1 on the season.
Tulsa received a first period goal from Ben Gordon, a second period strike from Michel Beausoleil and two goals in the third period (Ryan Barlock and Kyle O’Kane).
Madolora has been playing very well lately and he was looking for his first pro shutout late in the third period but Arizona broke through with goals from Kevin Petovello and Jason Morgan in the final five minutes.
Madolora has stopped 123 of the last 130 shots he has faced (.946 save percentage) dating back four games.
