The Missouri Mavericks are all on the same page when it comes to how the Central Hockey League team can continue its recent success this weekend against two of the top teams in the league.

The Wichita Thunder, who are 3-0-2 against the Mavericks this season, and the expansion Denver Cutthroats will each make an appearance at the Independence Events Center and Mavs and coach Scott Hillman and his players know the key to success is simplicity.

“We have to keep it simple,” forward Ryan Jardine said. “When we keep it simple, we seem to have more success. We need to stick to the game plan and continue doing what we’ve done the past month.”

The 16-11-4 Mavericks are coming off a 10-3-2 December and find themselves alone in fourth place.
