MAVS PLACE ANDREW COURTNEY ON IR, TURNBULL PLACED ON TEAM SUSPENSION
INDEPENDENCE, Missouri – Missouri Mavericks’ head coach Scott Hillman announced Sunday the Central Hockey League (CHL) team has placed forward Andrew Courtney on the 14-day injured reserve. Hillman has also placed forward Podge Turnbull on team suspension as he has decided to leave the team to play in England.
Courtney joins Mavericks’ forward Ryan Jardine on the injured reserve. He has 25 points (11-14=25) in 33 games played this season.
Before being placed on team suspension, Turnbull finished with 14 points (6-8=14) in 25 games played.
