They had to wait several days before making their debut with the Tulsa Oilers, but newcomers Bill Newson, Kurtis Dulle and Jamie Lovell quickly endeared themselves to their new teammates by combining for six points Friday night in a 5-4 win at Oklahoma City. Newson scored twice in the win, while Dulle (3 assists) and Lovell (assist) also made their presence felt. The trio were acquired from the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees last week but hadnt suited up yet for Tulsa due to a pair of postponed games.
Headed to the Killer Bees in the deal were Matt Medley and David Masse, who helped their new club to a 6-1 home win over Wichita Friday. Medley scored on a penalty shot and added two assists, while Masse recorded his fourth point in three games with the team.
