Travis Banga – Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees
During the off-season, the RGV Killer Bees made a trade that they knew would pay immediate dividends. The deal involved forward Travis Banga who was coming off his third consecutive solid season showing that he is a contributor as a professional.
Travis Banga's Bio
The High River, Alberta native has played in nearly 200 CHL games in his career and has accumulated over 200 points. This season with the Killer Bees, Banga is tied for the team lead with 28 points (9-19=28). His best professional season came with the RiverKings during the 2005-06 season when he scored 34 goals with 39 assists.
Banga enjoyed a great college career playing with both the University of New Hampshire (2000-02) and New England College (2001-04). His three years with New England College saw him post outstanding numbers (64 goals and 64 assists in 70 games).
Banga is the only All-Star representative from Rio Grande Valley.
