Rush Take Game One in North Finals
In game one of the Northern Conference Finals, the Rapid City Rush came-from-behind to tie the game and eventually triumph in overtime taking a 1-0 series lead over the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. Les Reaney scored three points in the game including the game winner in overtime lifting his team to the 5-4 win.

Scott Wray scored a pair of goals and had an assist and it was his second goal coming with three and a half minutes left in regulation that sent the game to overtime. Derek Campbell had a goal and an assist for the Rush helping aid the offense.
Former Rapid City defenseman Clay Plume led the offense for the ‘Bugs with a pair of goals, both in the third period.
The Mudbugs scored three times in the third period holding a 4-3 lead before Wray’s heroics.
Danny Battochio had 20 saves in the game improving to 5-0 in the post-season.
Ken Carroll took his first loss of the playoffs despite making 39 saves.
Game two is scheduled for Sunday night in Rapid City.
