Behind a pair of power play goals from John Snowden, the Bloomington PrairieThunder (12-6-1) defeated the Quad City Mallards (10-11-0) by a 4-1 count at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum on Saturday night.

Both of Snowden’s goals came in the first period building an early lead for the PThunder giving him nine goals on the season and six game winning goals (most in the CHL).
Bill Bagon and Brett Holmberg each scored goals for Bloomington helping their team to their fourth straight win.
Alan Mazur had four assists in the game.
Brad Phillips made 23 saves earning the win improving to 2-2-1 on the season.
David Brown was busy making 41 saves but he took the loss.
