Arizona’s Luke Erickson Wins ‘Oakley Three Stars’ for January

Chad Woollard have been named the ‘Oakley Three Stars’ for the month of January/2011.

First Star – Luke Erickson, F, Arizona Sundogs
Erickson notched 24 points in the month of January earning first star honors four times, second star one time and third star one time. Erickson had 11 goals and six assists during the month of January including two game winning goals. The Roseau, Minnesota native leads the league in goals with 28.
Second Star – Eric Giosa, F, Quad City Mallards
Giosa scored some crucial goals in January accounting for three game winning scores. He finished the month with 11 goals and five assists earning first star honors three times, second star two times and third star one time (22 points). Half of the Northville, Michigan natives 22 goals on the season came in the first month of 2011.
Third Star – Chad Woollard, F, Texas Brahmas
Woollard registered 19 points in the month of January scoring first star honors twice, second star honors twice and third star honors three times. He record eight goals and nine assists including a pair of game winning goals. The Durham, Ontario natives 24 goals on the season rank him among the league’s top 10 goal scorers.
