Wichita exploaded with 6 unasnwered goals, five in the 3rd period to beat Tulsa on the road Friday night, 6-2. Matt Summers scored twice, Thomas Beauregard had two assists and Ryan McDonald earned his first win in his first start of the season to improve Wichita's record to 3-0-0 at the BOK Center in Tulsa.

Luke Lucyk scored the first goal for the Oilers off a faceoff, giving the Oilers a 1-0 lead. The goal continued the Oilers hot run on the powerplay, scoring their 3rd time this season with the man advantage. 9:51
Wichita peppered Tulsa goaltender Ian Keserich with 16 shots on net in the first period, but was able to make some nice saves and keep his former team off the board. Keresich earned the CHL Goalie of the Week for his play last Fridy and Saturday.
Sean Erickson gave the Oilers a 2-0 lead at 9:51, his second of the season as he stepped into the play and beat Thunder netminder Ryan McDonald to the blocker side.
Colin Hemingway was able to get Wichita on the board at 12:21 when he recieved an Aaron Davis pass and was able to squeeze the puck through Keserich's legs and in the net for his second goal of the season. Wichita then opened up the shooting gallery, with goals from Summers (2), Davis, Robinson and Martens. Wichita outshot Tulsa 50-16, limiting Tulsa to just 3 in the final period.
