Pregame Notes
It is a big two points on the line for both teams as the Thunder is coming off an embarrassing 5-0 loss at Allen on Friday night in a showdown for the top spot in the Berry Conference. Wichita now finds themselves one point behind Allen for first place.
The Oilers were involved in a shutout as well last night but they found themselves on the right side of the scoreboard as Ian Keserich made 23 saves stopping the Texas Brahmas, 1-0. The win moves the Oilers just three points behind the Brahmas for third place in the Berry Conference.
The game will mark the end of a four-game road trip for the Oilers who are 1-1-1 thus far. Tulsa is 9-11-2 on the road this season.
For Wichita, they have dropped three of their last four games overall but are an impressive 16-4-0 on home ice this season.
Wichita leads the season series five wins to four and have won four of the last five meetings against Tulsa. In Kansas, the Thunder are 3-1 against the Oilers.
