LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, announced Thursday that they have re-signed 2010-2011 CHL All-Star Neil Trimm for the 2011-2012 season.
Neil Trimm is a 6’2”, 190 pound forward from Westmeath, Ontario. This will be his fourth year as a professional and third straight season with the Laredo Bucks.
Last season with the Bucks, Trimm had 21 multi-point games. Trimm ranked 11th in the CHL last season with 80 points. He notched 22 goals and had 58 assists. He was also named as a starter for the 2011 CHL All-Star game. During his career with the Laredo Bucks, he has appeared in 104 regular season games where he scored 36 goals and had 76 assists. He has also appeared in 7 playoff games, scoring 1 goal and 3 assists.
“It is great to have Neil back with the team. He had a great year for us last year and I expect the same from him this season. He adds a lot of depth to the team with skills and experience,” said Head Coach Serge Dube. “It’s unfortunate for him that things didn’t work out for him in Cincinnati, but after talking with him he seems very excited about being back in Laredo.”
