Texas Brahmas left winger Mike Hellyer hasn't been teammates with T.J. Fox for very long.
Hellyer was playing for the University of Manitoba when the Central Hockey League season started and he joined the Brahmas for the team's final three regular-season games. But Hellyer has had enough time to get a feel for the playing style of Fox, the team's talented first-year center from Oswego, N.Y.
"You talk about guys that the puck follows: It goes on their stick and they know how to finish," Hellyer said. "That's a description of T.J. Fox. He's a pure goal scorer when the puck comes to him. And when it gets on his stick, it's in the net."
