The Arizona Sundogs have been hard at work this offseason, searching for players they hope will help turn around the franchise, which has suffered through three straight losing seasons.
The Sundogs will likely keep only one player from last year's squad, Adam Smyth, who re-signed with the team in April. However, the team hasn't ruled out bringing back other former players, but it is unlikely.
"That is to be determined," Sundogs General Manager of Business Operations Chris Presson said about the possibility of re-signing former players. "We didn't win very many games last year and our job is to make sure we do a better job of winning games. Certainly, when you put yourself in a spot of having only won 19 games, you have to re-evaluate what you did and who was on your team and that's where we are."
