The Colorado Eagles and the Laredo Bucks will square off for the 2006-2007 Ray Miron Presidents Cup title beginning this Friday and Sunday at the Budweiser Events Center in a rematch of the 2004-2005 title series won 4 games to 1 by the Eagles. The clubs have combined to win the last CHL three titles, with the Bucks capturing the crown in 2003-2004 and 2005-2006. By virtue of a better regular season record, the Eagles will enjoy home ice advantage, with the series following a 2-3-2 format.
The Northern Conference Champion Eagles secured their second ever Finals appearance by dispatching Youngstown (6 games), Oklahoma City (7 games) and Memphis (6 games), while Southern Conference Champion Laredo makes their record fourth consecutive Finals visit with 5-game series wins over Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi and New Mexico. All Finals games will be available live on CHLTV.com.
