PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League today announced that NHL parent club, the Phoenix Coyotes have recalled forwards Olivier Latendresse and Alex Leavitt and defenseman Sean Sullivan to the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
Olivier Latendresse was reassigned to Arizona earlier in the day and tallied two goals in the Sundogs 5-4 loss to the New Mexico Scorpions. In ten games with Arizona this season, the LaSalle, Quebec native has collected 14 points (8g/6a) and eight penalty minutes. In three games with San Antonio (AHL) this season, the 21-year-old notched one goal and 17 penalty minutes.
Forward Alex Leavitt also notched two goals in the Sundogs 5-4 loss to New Mexico this afternoon and was the Sundogs’ leading scorer with 24 points (11g/13a) through 13 games this season. With the two goals, the Edmonton, Alberta native extended his consecutive-game point streak to ten games.
Defenseman Sean Sullivan collected one assist in Sunday afternoon’s game and has notched points in his last six games. In 13 games with the Sundogs this season, the Boston, Mass. native has notched four goals and 10 assists for a plus-2 rating.
Sunday’s recall marks the first for both Leavitt and Sullivan this season. Previously, Latendresse was recalled to San Antonio on Nov. 10.
