Garrett Prosofsky scored a pair of power play goals and Dallas Flaman scored the game winner early in the third period to give the Blazers their first win in the Chevrolet Centre in six chances. Sean Connors moved to 9-9-3 making 42 saves in the game for OKC.
Rocky Mountain 4 @ Arizona 5 (OT)
Olivier Latendresse had two goals and two assists as the Sundogs improve to a four point lead in the Southwest Division. Mark Kolanos scored the overtime game winner dealing the Rage their third straight loss. Daymen Rycroft scored his league leading 40th and 41st goals of the season in the losing effort.
Wichita 3 @ Tulsa 2
The Thunder won for the second straight night using three different goal scorers and 27 saves from Bill Zaniboni. Wichita scored twice in the final period to earn the one-goal victory.
Bossier-Shreveport 3 @ Austin 0
John De Caro made 20 saves setting the CHL single season record with his ninth shutout. The blanking was the Mudbugs CHL record 14th of the season and it extends the Brahmas current scoreless streak to 145:45. Tyrel Lucas had a goal and an assist in the game.
Mississippi 2 @ Texas 5
Anders Strome scored twice and Brett Jaeger made 46 saves as the Brahmas won their sixth straight game and pulled to within a point of the RiverKings and a playoff spot. The Brahmas went 3 for 8 on the power play.
Odessa 2 @ Corpus Christi 3
Justin Quenneville scored two goals and Jason Tapp made 39 saves as the Rayz ended a four-game slide and stayed two points out of a playoff spot.
Laredo 4 @ Rio Grande Valley 1
Dustin Traylen made 31 saves earning his first win since January 30th as the Bucks won their third straight game. Jeff Bes scored his eighth goal in his last four games and maintained the league’s scoring lead with 83 points.
New Mexico 2 @ Amarillo 7
The Gorillas used six-point nights from both Bill Vandermeer and David Nimmo to defeat the Scorpions and maintain their hold on the fifth and final playoff spot in the Southern Conference. Amarillo finished 4 for 9 on the power play.
