Tulsa Comes Back to Beat Bees
The Tulsa Oilers (11-20-5) won back-to-back games for the first time this season as they defeated the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (18-15-4) 4-3 in overtime. The loss for the Bees snaps their second five-game win streak of the season.

The Bees jumped out to an early 3-1 lead thanks to a pair of goals from Topher Scott and a tally from Jesse Bennefield who extended his point streak to 13 games.
Jeff Christian started the comeback for the Oilers scoring just past the six minute mark in the third period and Brendon Hodge scored the game tying goal unassisted at the 12:28 mark.
In overtime, Grant Goeckner-Zoeller was whistled for a high sticking minor putting Tulsa on the power play and they responded with Jake Riddle scoring the game winning goal at the 1:04 mark of the extra session, just eight seconds into the Bees minor penalty.
David Parley earned the win making 31 saves improving to 2-3-1 on the season for the Oilers.
Wylie Rogers took the loss stopping 29 shots ending his personal four game win streak.
