RiverKings Win 11th Straight
The Mississippi RiverKings (40-14-3) tied the CHL’s longest win streak of the season with their 11th straight victory in a 6-2 triumph versus the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs (36-17-4) in the CenturyTel Center on Saturday night. The win stretches the ‘Kings lead over the ‘Bugs to seven points.

It also gives Mississippi their eight straight road win, the longest road win streak of the season in the CHL.
David Simoes started the scoring with his third goal in his last four games followed shortly thereafter by Stephen Margeson’s eighth goal of the season.
Mississippi put the game away early in the second period with goals from Martin Gascon, Jeff Alcombrack and Dallas Costanza making the score 5-0 after two periods.
The RiverKings outshot the Mudbugs 38-26 in the game as Kevin Beech improved to 33-10-3 for the season.
