OAKLEY CENTRAL HOCKEY LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK ANNOUNCED
Tulsa’s Hisey Wins Weekly Award
The Central Hockey League announced today that the recipient for the Oakley CHL Player of the Week for the period ending November 1st, 2009 is forward Rob Hisey of the Tulsa Oilers.
Hisey had a hand in all five of the Oilers’ goals in their 5-4 victory over Rapid City on Tuesday and then followed that up with a two-goal performance in his team’s 5-4 loss this past Halloween against Mississippi. For the week, the Oakville, Ontario native totaled three goals with four assists and had a +1 plus/minus rating. In all, Hisey took part in seven of the nine goals scored this week by the Oilers. His performances this week helped keep Tulsa in a solid 3rd place in the Northern Conference and his 12 points (7-5=12) are tied for second most in the league.
In recognition of his achievement, Hisey will receive a special gift from Oakley.
