Officials for Presidents' Cup Finals Announced


On-Ice Officials for Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup Announced

The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today the four referees and four linesmen that will make up the on-ice officials crew for the 2010 CHL Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup Finals scheduled to begin on Friday in Rapid City.   

The referee pool for the finals will be Dan Dreger, Jon McIsaac, Kevin Graber and Ryan Hersey and the men working the lines in the finals will be Jordan Crowell, Chris Petrin, John Grandt and Pat Smith.

“We are proud of the accomplishments of our on-ice officials this season and to be selected to work the finals is a reward for their hard work throughout the season,” said Wayne Bonney, CHL’s Supervisor of Officials.  “I know our guys are excited about working the games and I know they will do a great job.”

This marks the third straight appearance in the finals for Crowell and Smith and the second straight season that Petrin has been selected.  All other selected officials will be making their first appearance in the CHL Finals.

The best-of-7 series between the Rapid City Rush and the Allen Americans will begin on Friday, April 23rd at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Arena.  The entire schedule is listed below:

Allen Americans vs. Rapid City Rush
Game 1 – Fri., Apr. 23 – Allen at Rapid City, 7:05
Game 2 – Sat., Apr. 24  – Allen at Rapid City, 7:05
Game 3 – Wed., Apr. 28 – Rapid City at Allen, 7:30
Game 4 – Fri., Apr. 30 – Rapid City at Allen, 7:30
*Game 5 – Sat., May 1 – Rapid City at Allen, 7:30
*Game 6 – Tue., May 4 – Allen at Rapid City, 6:35
*Game 7 – Fri., May 7 – Allen at Rapid City, 7:05
