Derek LeBlanc has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending November 14, 2010.

LeBlanc helped guide his team to a 2-0-1 week by recording multiple-point efforts in all three contests. The Brandon, Manitoba native took over the team lead in points with his three goals, four assist week. LeBlanc started the week by securing a point for his team with a game-tying goal with just 17 seconds remaining in regulation. The score was a part of the Rush’s 4-3 shootout loss at Colorado. He then scored a goal with an assist in his team’s 4-2 win over Tulsa on Nov. 12 and then had a goal and two assists in the Rush’s 5-4 win over Tulsa on Nov. 13. On the season, LeBlanc has seven goals with seven assists.
The 6-2, 210-pound forward is in his third season with the defending Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup Champion Rush and has totaled 52 goals with 42 assists in 116 career games with Rapid City.
