Sebastien Thinel has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending November 21, 2010.

Thinel was the catalyst of the Jackalopes unbeaten week scoring four goals and adding four assists in three games. The 2009 CHL Most Valuable Player helped his team end a six-game losing streak on Tuesday with a 6-3 victory over Rio Grande Valley. In that game, Thinel had two goals and two assists. The St. Jerome, Quebec native scored two goals, including the game winner, and had an assist in the Jacks 6-2 win over Wichita on Thursday and then registered an assist and a +3 plus/minus rating in Saturday’s 5-1 road win at Allen.
The 6-1, 187-pound forward leads the league in scoring with 25 points (10-15=25) and is carrying a +8. Thinel has put up 194 points (60-134=194) over the past two seasons, the most in the CHL over that stretch.
