The Central Hockey League has today announced the remaining members of both the Southern and Northern Conference All-Star rosters for the 2005 Dodge CHL All-Star Game, scheduled for Wednesday, January 12th in Laredo, Texas. The respective All-Star Coaches (Lubbocks Chris Dashney; Southern Conference and Colorados Chris Stewart; Northern Conference) along with the CHLs Hockey Operations staff selected an additional six forwards, four defensemen and two goaltenders from each conference to participate. Each CHL club has a minimum of one representative.
In the Southern Conference, forwards Greg Bullock (Corpus Christi), Adam Paiement (Laredo), Anders Strome (Lubbock), Sebastien Thinel (Odessa) and Austin teammates Benoit Genesse and John McNabb have been added, as were defensemen Pacal Bedard (Odessa), Tyler Butler (Amarillo), Matt Frick (San Angelo) and Jason Tessier (Rio Grande Valley). Goaltenders Lance Leslie from Lubbock and Jeremy Symington from Laredo will also participate. Forwards Jason Baird (Corpus Christi), Brent Cullaton (Laredo) and Derek Hahn (Amarillo) were voted to start for the Southern Conference, as were defensemen Derick Martin (Lubbock) and Bernie John (Corpus Christi) and San Angelo goaltender Scott Reid.
New Mexicos Miguel Beaudry and Bossier-Shreveports Ken Carroll were selected as additional Northern Conference goaltenders, with Jason Basile (Bossier-Shreveport), Mario Joly (Tulsa), Daniel Tetrault (New Mexico) and Hardy Sauter (Oklahoma City), who makes his record eighth CHL All-Star Game appearance, named as defensemen. Forwards Michel Beausoleil (Oklahoma City), Jason Duda (Wichita), Mike Lukajic (Topeka), Olivier Maltais (Tulsa), Kevin Marsh (Colorado) and Martin Paquet (Fort Worth) were added to the Northern Conference roster, joining starters Greg Pankewicz (Colorado), Don Parsons (Memphis) and Chad Woollard (Fort Worth). Also previously selected to start for the Northern Conference were Colorado goaltender Tyler Weiman and defensemen Paul Esdale (Wichita) and Derek Landmesser (Memphis).

Each member of the All-Star teams will also take part in the CHL Skills Competition on Tuesday, January 11th, featuring six different events, including the Fastest Skater, Hardest Shot, Accuracy Shootout, Rapid Fire, Pass & Score and the Breakaway Relay contests. Injury replacements for any CHL All-Stars unable to participate will be announced once determined.
