The tenants occupying the office at 1900 Wazee St. are just like any other startup renting space downtown. They're trying to get their product off the ground, looking for good people to hire and pressing the flesh in the community, trying to win friends and influence people.
But the product they're pitching — minor-league hockey — is a little different than your typical LoDo startup. And they're doing it in a sluggish economy in a city with teams in all of the major professional sports.
Denver's new Central Hockey League team, still to be officially named, starts its 66-game season in October and will play home games at the 60-year-old Denver Coliseum.
