Central Hockey League Announces Suspensions
Three Suspensions Handed Out After Arizona/Laredo Game
TEMPE, AZ (November 7, 2011) – The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today the following suspensions, all resulting from the Arizona Sundogs/Laredo Bucks game on Wednesday, November 9:
-Laredo Bucks forward Todd Griffith has been suspended for four (4) games as a consequence of an elbowing incident and will miss his team’s games on Nov. 11 (vs. Allen), Nov. 12 (vs. Allen), Nov. 18 (at Rio Grande Valley) and Nov. 19 (at Rio Grande Valley).
-Arizona Sundogs forward/defenseman Adam Smyth has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of a slew-footing incident and will miss his team’s games on Nov. 11 (at Rio Grande Valley), Nov. 12 (at Rio Grande Valley) and Nov. 17 (vs. Texas).
-Arizona Sundogs defenseman Corey Toy has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a cross-checking incident and will miss his team’s game on Nov. 11 (at Rio Grande Valley).
