Before every playoff game, 6-foot-7, 250-pound Komets defenseman Brent Henley would look like the biggest kid in the building. Before any of the fans came in, he'd sit on the Fort Wayne bench and build sculptures out of the pucks that would be used for warm-ups.
``I'm a huge fan of Lego and Jenga and anything symmetrical,'' Henley explained. ``A couple of years back, I found if I sit and think about the game, I get jittery. I'm much better if I'm distracted and follow a routine.''
He had an extra 10 minutes to kill, so he'd come out to the bench and build things with pucks. This started in 2008 during the Komets' first-round playoffs against Muskegon, which Fort Wayne won, so the routine continued.
