BLOOMINGTON — The one constant on Bloomington’s often-changing hockey landscape will be back for another season.
Forward Jon Booras has signed a contract to return for his second season with the Central Hockey League’s Bloomington Blaze and his seventh playing professionally in Bloomington. The 29-year-old Booras spent five years with the Blaze’s predecessor, the PrairieThunder.
Booras had team highs of 27 goals and 53 points in 52 games last year. He was voted the Blaze’s Most Valuable Player in fan balloting despite missing five weeks with a hamstring injury.
