Back in March, the Allen Americans and the Texas Brahmas went head-to-head in a best-of-7 playoff series that was the first post-season match-up between the two rivals.

The mayors of the City of Allen (Steve Terrell) and of North Richland Hills (Oscar Trevino) got together to support their respective teams and made a wager that would have the losing Mayor wear the opposing team’s jersey at the North Central Texas Council of Governments meeting in June.

Well the Brahmas won the series, four games to two, and Mayor Terrell made good on his portion of the bet by wearing the Brahmas jersey at the recent meetings.
