Americans Stay Busy During the Off-Season


AMERICANS HELP CELEBRATE A BUSY WEEKEND


Allen Tx- The Allen Americans were a part of two big events over the weekend, the Plano Fun Ride, Saturday morning, the third annual, at Oak Point Park. Americans staff was on hand, along with Americans mascot, Biscuit, to greet riders before and after the race.  Kids of all ages took their best shot at the slap shot cage, and posed for photos, with the Governors Cup trophy, which was on hand. The event was from 7:00-10:00 am

Then the crew ventured on over to Frisco, for the one year anniversary of the O'Reilly McDonalds, at Custer and Hwy 121. Again the Governors Cup trophy, and Biscuit made an appearance. Fans had a chance to win tickets, to the 2011-2012 season opener, through a drawing, and get signed up for 2011-2012  season tickets.

Today the Americans will celebrate another one year anniversary, at Cotton Patch Cafe, in the Village at Allen, from 4-8 pm.  Americans head coach and GM Dwight Mullins, will be a part of the festivities, taking part in a Chicken Fried Steak eating contest.  Come by and visit with Americans ticket representatives, and get info on season tickets and mini plans. Americans defenseman Erik Adams, Biscuit, and the Governors Cup Trophy are scheduled be at the event.
