The Memphis RiverKings have extended their Northeast Division lead to 10 points following their sixth straight win, blanking the visiting Oilers 3-0 in dominating fashion 3-0. Memphis scored three even strength goals and outshot Tulsa by a 45 to 15 margin, allowing All-Star goaltender Larry Sterling to post his second shutout of the season in relatively easy fashion. Also Tuesday, the hottest team in CHL history, the Colorado Eagles, improved their CHL record winning streak to 15 games with a narrow 4-3 win in Oklahoma City and the Austin Ice Bats earned a 4-3 shootout win in Rio Grande Valley.
