Colaiacovo is the winningest goaltender in Eagles history with a career mark of 43-17-5, 2.55 GAA and a .916 save percentage. He starred during the 2005 CHL Playoffs, as he posted a 4-0 record, an incredible 1.00 goals against average and his .962 save percentage led the postseason. His performance included a 36-save shutout against the Laredo Bucks earning the Eagles their first President's Cup.

Before coming to the Eagles, Paulo enjoyed success at the junior level being named OHL Goaltender of the Year with the Barrie Colts. His final season in juniors, he started by shutting out two of his first four opponents, while holding his opposition to one goal or fewer on 19 different occasions. He was named OHL goaltender of the month in December of 2003 and was selected to the OHL All-Star game. This off-season, Colaiacovo has been training and living with his brother Carlo, who is currently in camp with the Toronto Maple Leafs. "I am very excited for the opportunity that lies ahead. I've been working hard this summer and look forward to another successful season with the Eagles," said the goaltender.

Defenseman, Jonathan Lounsbury comes to the Eagles after playing with the Huntsville Havoc in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). Last season, Lounsbury won the SPHL defensemen scoring championship with 48 points (4 goals, 44 assists) as he edged out Richmond's Brian Goudie (45 points). This will be the third pro season for the 25-year-old, Winthrop, Massachusetts native. He previously attended the University of Southern Maine in Portland, where he averaged 24 points per season in four years with the Huskies. During his senior campaign, he recorded personal bests with 23 assists and 30 points, leading all defensemen.

The Eagles also added toughness by signing forward Tyson Terry from Abbottsford, British Columbia. The 5-11, 190-pounder racked up 191 penalty minutes and 26 points in 58 games as a rookie with the Chilliwack Chiefs of the BCHL during the 2000-01 season. After playing his junior hockey in the BCHL, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior playing collegiately with the Yellow Jackets, before transferring to Geneseo of the SUNYAC. As a senior at Geneseo, Terry finished fifth in scoring (4-14-18) and his 35 penalty minutes led his team. In two seasons with the Knights, Terry helped lead the team to two SUNYAC Conference Championships.
