OAKLEY CENTRAL HOCKEY LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK ANNOUNCED
The Central Hockey League announced today that the recipient for the Oakley CHL Player of the Week for the period ending November 4th, 2007 is forward Dominic Osman of the New Mexico Scorpions.
Osman led the Scorpions to a 2-1 record this past week and was the catalyst in the team’s 10-0 victory on Saturday night versus the Northwest Division leading Rocky Mountain Rage. In the lopsided victory, the rookie had three goals and an assist and was a +5 (best plus/minus in a single CHL game this season). Earlier in the week, the Dearborn, Michigan native posted two goals and an assist versus Odessa. The former Lake Superior State University player has seven goals and three assists on the season leading the Scorpions in goals and ranking second in points. New Mexico has won back-to-back games and are 3-4-1 on the season.
In recognition of his achievement, Osman will receive a special gift from Oakley.
