Three third period goals by the Mississippi RiverKings lifted them to a 5-2 win over the Tulsa Oilers Tuesday night. Ryan Held and Rick Kozak each scored a pair of goals and Sebastien Centomo made 29 saves improving his record to 3-1 on the season. The win for the RiverKings was their third straight to start the season away from home.

The Oilers overcame a two goal deficit after Ryan Held and Ryan Campbell had lifted the RiverKings to a 2-0 lead. Kai Magnussen rifled home his second goal of the season with just under five minutes left in the first period, getting the Oilers on the board.
Lance Herauf scored his second goal of the season, both coming against Mississippi, rifling home a shot from the slot with just under seven minutes to play in the period.
Rick Kozak regained the lead for the RiverKings scoring with just 1:28 left in the second period. Held lifted his second goal of the night just over goaltender Clint Chalmers' left shoulder and under the crossbar midway through the third period. Kozak rounded out the scoring with an empty net goal with just three seconds left to play.
