Corpus Christi Rayz Unveil New Website

Corpus Christi, Texas: August 25, 2003 - The Corpus Christi Rayz hockey team has South Texans doing a different kind of surfing. The Rayz have announced their new website is up and running. The URL for the site is www.ccrayz.com. Viewers of the site can get up to the minute news about the team, view player profiles and keep in touch with all information regarding the Corpus Christi Rayz.

The newly designed site allows browsers to get Rayz ticket and scheduling information, as well as information on league standings, statistics and scores. The site will also have every Rayz broadcast available to hear on the website, ensuring that every fan can keep up with the Rayz all season long, no matter where they are.

The new site is extremely interactive, adding an entertaining way for Rayz fans to be hands-on supporters of their team. With a new multimedia section of the site, fans will be able to participate in Rayz surveys and trivia contests. As the season progresses, fans will also have the opportunity to view pictures of their favorite players and access video and audio clips from the Rayz.

The Fan Forum section gives fans the opportunity to share their thought on the Rayz. The site provides users with two different forums to meet with other Rayz fans and talk South Texas hockey. The message board allows users to post and read messages on their own time and discuss a wide variety of topics. The chat room is a discussion area where fans can communicate with each other in real-time. Fans can also sign up to the Corpus Christi newsletter that will deliver news on the Rayz straight to your online mailbox. Fans who register for the newsletter will receive press releases and news as soon right when they are sent out. Now the fans will know at the same time as the media.

“The new Rayz site is fun,” said Josh Bogorad, the Director of Media Relations for the Rayz. “It’s fun to look at, fun to use and filled with interactive areas and news for our fans. We wanted to build a site that would be hands-on and big enough the fans, while remaining easy to use. This site is exactly that.”
