FRI NIGHT’S GAME CHANGED TO 8:05PM START
GAME TIME MOVED DUE TO SEN. OBAMA APPEARANCE
The Corpus Christi Rayz Fourth Annual “Pack the House for Charity” Night at the American Bank Center on Friday Night, February 22nd has been postponed to 8:05pm, the Rayz have announced. The time change comes due to a late scheduled speaking engagement at the American Bank Center from Illinois Senator and Presidential Candidate, Barack Obama. Obama’s appearance at the ABC was confirmed early on Thursday and the start time of the Rayz game has been pushed back to accommodate all patrons to both the hockey game and Senator Obama’s appearance. The doors for the game will open to the public at approximately 7:05pm. The Rayz apologize to their fans for any inconvenience. For more information on the time change or how you can help local charities by attending the Rayz Pack the House For Charity Night, please call 361.814.PUCK.
Friday Night’s Pack the House For Charity Night is the single biggest event of the Rayz season. The Rayz will attempt to “pack” the American Bank Center with fans and help raise money for three very deserving youth based organizations in Corpus Christi while squaring off against big rivals, the Laredo Bucks. The Rayz have joined forces with the Coastal Bend Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), the YWCA of Corpus Christi and the Corpus Christi Rise School for the charity event. Proceeds from this game will go to benefit the three organizations, and the public can support these fine organizations simply by attending the game. For more information on how you can help support your local community on “Pack the House for Charity” Night, call the Rayz at (361) 814-PUCK.
