Saturday Night's Round-Up
The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (5-0-0) erased a 1-0 deficit to the Laredo Bucks (5-3-0) after the first period by scoring three unanswered goals en route to their fifth straight win to start the season. The loss ends Laredo’s four-game win streak.
Christian Boucher made his first start of the season and he made the most of it stopping 37 shots. Travis Banga put the game on ice with a late third period shorthanded goal to go along with his two assists. Trevor Weisgerber had the game winning goal earlier in the third period.
Laredo has played three more games than RGV and are tied with the Bees in points with 10.
