Mississippi Takes 3-1 Series Lead
The Mississippi RiverKings won in Oklahoma City for the second consecutive night and won their third straight game in the series giving them a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven semifinals series with the Blazers. The ‘Kings did it with defense winning 2-1 as they improve to 6-0 at the Ford Center this season winning each game by a goal.

Simon Lambert’s power play goal at the 4:24 mark of the second period was the first score of the game giving the Blazers the lead. It was followed in the same period by a Jeff Alcombrack goal with less than a minute remaining in the period tying the game at a goal apiece.
The RiverKings took their first lead with the game winning goal by Louis Dumont (on the power play) scored at the 1:55 mark of the final period.
Mississippi outshot the Blazers 29-20 holding them to four shots in the third period.
Kevin Beech earned the win making 19 saves and Andy Franck started for the first time in the series and looked good stopping 27 shots in the loss.
Game Five is scheduled for Saturday night in Mississippi with face-off scheduled for 7:05 PM (CST).
