OAKLEY CENTRAL HOCKEY LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK ANNOUNCED
Texas’ Elias Godoy Wins Weekly Award
The Central Hockey League announced today that the recipient for the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending January 17, 2010 is forward Elias Godoy of the Texas Brahmas.
Godoy earned six points (3-3=6) in two games this past week as his team won both games. The West Vancouver, British Columbia native had a hand in six of the Brahmas 10 goals scored on the weeke winning goal in Texas’ The Texas Brahma player had a hand in more than half of his team’s goals scored on the week and has five goals and six assists in his last seven games played. The 5-11, 180-pound forward had a goal and two assists in the Brahmas win over Tulsa on Friday and then followed that up with two goals and an assist in his team’s win over Arizona on Saturday.
In recognition of their achievements both Godoy and Battochio will receive a special gift from Oakley.
