Oilers Play Spoiler in INTRUST Opener
In the first game in the INTRUST Bank Arena era, the Tulsa Oilers played spoiler with two third period goals in a 2-1 win over the Wichita Thunder. The game was played in front of a sold out crowd of 13,412 (the largest crowd in the CHL this season).
Tulsa goaltender Ian Keserich was close to brilliant making 39 saves but goals by T.J. Caig and the eventual winner by Thomas Harrison earned revenge for the Oilers who lost to Wichita on Friday night.
Paul Kelly scored the lone goal of the game for the Thunder.
Trevor Cann made 25 saves earning the win for Tulsa.
