Rush Take Part in Miracle Network Fundraiser
On Thursday, the Rapid City Rush made an appearance at the Rapid City Regional Hospital to lend a helping hand to the Children’s Miracle Network. New Rushmore Radio organized a “Radiothon” at the hospital from 6am through 1pm that featured each of the four FM stations.
"We are so grateful that the Rapid City Rush players are involved in Children's Miracle Network (CMN). They came to our CMN Radiothon and have attended CMN events throughout the year. It's really great that they participate in our community and it means so much to our kids," said Betty Quasney, Children's Miracle Network Project Coordinator.
Among the four stations in attendance was Rush flagship station, 100.3 the FOX. Rush player/assistant Scott Wray and mascot Nugget were among the Rush representatives who made the appearance. Wray was able to join each station for a period of time to promote the event and share personal experiences in an effort to raise money.
