NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (July 16)- The Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) stacked their roster Friday as they announced the signing of defenseman Nick Toneys and forward Jeff Hazelwood for the 2010-11 campaign.

Before taking his game to the professional level, Hazelwood was a student athlete at St. Norbert College (2005-07) and Curry College (2007-09). In his junior and senior year at Curry College, Hazelwood posted 93 points (43 G, 50 A) earning him the ECAC Northeast “Player of the Year” award in 2009.
“It’s great to bring in young guys early in the season as we can help them develop,” Brahmas Head Coach Dan Wildfong said regarding his newest signings. “Nick will be a solid addition to our blueline and with Jeff’s offensive reputation; I believe our fans will have a great team to look forward to watching come October.”
