Fort Wayne, IN |Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 --- The Komets clipped the visiting Evansville IceMen Saturday night in Fort Wayne 4-3 in front of 9,213 fans. It was the first home win of the season for the K's in three appearances and Fort Wayne improved to 2-3-1 for five points after six games. Evansville fell to 3-4-1.

Derek Patrosso earned first star honors scoring a pair including the game winner. Brandon Naurato and P.C. Drouin each netted their first goals of the season to complete the Fort Wayne scoring. Nick Boucher (2-2-0) earned his second win of the season in the Komet net stopping 19 of 22 IceMen shots while Evansville's David Wilson (1-2-0) suffered his second loss of the year making 37 saves on 41 shots.
