The Central Hockey League and NHL Network have today announced an agreement to re-broadcast the Dodge 2005 CHL All-Star Game. Produced by Fox Sports Net Southwest, and featuring broadcasters Joe Dominey, Glen Norman and Robert Simpson, the game will air on NHL Network across Canada this Thursday, January 20th at 7:00 PM EST.
NHL Network is available on digital cable and satellite throughout Canada, and features 'round-the-clock' hockey programming, offering viewers the most complete and in-depth hockey coverage including news, information and extended highlights. NHL Network programming includes NHL Classics, international hockey, amateur hockey, player profiles, interview shows and youth-oriented programs. The 2005 Dodge CHL All-Star Game took place January 12th at the Laredo Entertainment Center, with the Northern Conference topping the Southern Conference 14-13 in a shootout. Colorado right winger Greg Pankewicz, a native of Drayton Valley, Alberta earned Northern Conference Most Valuable Players honors with five goals and nine points, both establishing CHL All-Star records. Corpus Christi left winger Jason Baird, from Cayuga, Ontario, took home recognition as MVP for the Southern Conference, scoring three times and adding three assists.
