Kevin Ulanski has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending December 26, 2010.

The defending CHL Most Valuable Player lit it up in two Eagles wins this week recording five points (2-3=5) in Colorado’s 7-6 win over Arizona and following that up with four assists in his team’s 4-2 win at Rapid City. The Madison, Wisconsin native began and ended the win over the Sundogs as he put Colorado in front just 23 seconds into the contest and then scored the game winning goal in the third period. His nine points in his last two games are as many points as he had recorded in his previous 11 games. He also was a +6 in those two contests.

On the season, the 5-11, 199-pound forward is tied for 11th in the league with 13 goals and 20 assists, 33 points, Last season, during his MVP run, Ulanski had 34 goals and 75 assists for a league-best 109 points.
