Playing in his second Stanley Cup Playoff game, former Laredo Bucks forward and current San Jose Shark
Andrew Desjardins scored his first post-season goal in Sunday’s 4-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL’s Western Conference Finals.
Desjardins played in 17 games during the regular season for the Sharks totaling three points (1-2=3) and also played in 58 games with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League where he scored 12 goals with 17 assists.
Desjardins played with the Bucks during the 2007-08 season earning a spot on the CHL All-Rookie Team after scoring 59 points (22-37=59) in 64 games.
The Sharks trail in their series against the Canucks three games to one.
