Sundogs' Pietroniro rebuilds for 2011-2012 season

The ice is gone for the summer but some members of the Arizona Sundogs' are working as hard as ever.
Since exiting the playoffs at the hands of eventual Central Hockey League champion Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs, Sundogs' head coach and general manager Marco Pietroniro started assembling the pieces of what he hopes will be his second championship team.
The Sundogs won the Ray Miron President's Cup Championship in 2008 over the Colorado Eagles. They won't get the chance for a rematch with the Eagles or with the Mudbugs, both of which ceased operations when the season ended.
