They’ve been playing golf, playing tourist, even playing a little guitar.
But playing hockey is never far from the minds of Rapid City Rush players during the summer offseason.
“When the season does end, it doesn’t necessarily end for us,” Rush defenseman Riley Weselowski said. “You get a couple weeks break, then (you) have to have your sights set on next season, and that‘s where mine are set right now.”
Weselowski, captain Scott Wray, goaltender Danny Battochio and forwards Konrad Reeder and Ryan Menei are the first five players signed to the club for the 2011-2012 Central Hockey League season.
