Fifteen games into the 2011-2012 Central Hockey League season, one constant for the Rush has been some strong outings, interrupted by vexing breakdowns on the ice.
The Rush ended the weekend 8-6-1, after clinching a series with the IceMen, the current Turner Conference leaders.
Rapid City registered its first shutout of the season with a solid 4-0 win over Evansville on Wednesday, then stumbled on Friday, giving up six special-teams goals in a 7-5 loss.
