Blaming defensive lapses after a 4-3 setback at home to the Fort Wayne Komets on Feb. 8, Evansville IceMen head coach Rich Kromm quickly dealt with the frustration and went back to work
"We have to understand that defense has to be the priority all the time," said Kromm after that loss.
Mission accomplished.
Entering Sunday's 5 p.m. Central Hockey League game against the Arizona Sundogs at the Ford Center, the IceMen (31-13-4) are back on solid ice, having won their last five contests — including four on the road — while surrendering just nine goals.
