The tired, sore and stiff Fort Wayne Komets stumbled off the bus Wednesday night at the end of the 20-hour ride home from Rapid City. Thanks to the Rush's challenge, they are also a different team than the one that started the playoffs two weeks ago, tougher, more seasoned and more confident.
``I thought we were two pretty evenly matched teams as far as physicality and skill, and it was a great series,'' Komets forward Bobby Chaumont said. ``I think we're definitely prepared for whatever is thrown at us now. Now we have to turn our focus to Missouri.''
